Mumbai A corporate analyst has alleged that Infosys was not sharing the audited accounts of Infosys Foundation with its shareholders. Interestingly, it is happening at a time when other conglomerates like Tata are engaged in the same practice.
Talking to Bizz Buzz, Tamal Kumar Majumder, a corporate analyst, says: “But one thing I still don’t know why Infosys is not sharing the audited accounts of Infosys Foundation with its shareholders.”
The word ‘transparency’ is synonymous with Infosys Ltd, but I don’t know whether shareholders/others got the same reply, which I received through mail from the management some years ago after asking for audited accounts of Infosys Foundation. “The financials of Infosys Foundation are audited separately as per regulatory requirements and the company is not required to publish the audited accounts of Infosys Foundation,” Majumder quoted Infosys as sharing with him, on his social media handle.
